Scandicci is a town in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy. It has about 50,000 people living there. Scandicci is located about 6 kilometers (4 miles) southwest of Florence.
Scandicci is surrounded by several other towns. These include Campi Bisenzio, Florence, Impruneta, Lastra a Signa, Montespertoli, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, and Signa.
The town of Scandicci first appeared in 1774. Back then, it was called Torri. Over time, it grew bigger by joining with other nearby communities.

- Villa i Collazzi: This is a special old building. Some people think the famous artist Michelangelo helped design it.
- Villa Pestellini: Another interesting old villa in the area.
- San Giuliano a Settimo: This is an old Abbey (a type of monastery). People first wrote about it in the year 774.
- Sant'Alessandro a Giogoli: This is a Romanesque-style church. It was first mentioned in 1035. Inside, it has a main area with two side sections. There's also a painting by Ridolfo del Ghirlandaio and another by Francesco Conti.
- Pieve di San Vincenzo: Another historic church in Scandicci.
- San Martino alla Palma: This church has a covered walkway from the 1500s. Inside, you can see a painting from the 1300s called Madonna with Child Enthroned.
- Sant'Andrea: This church is in Mosciano. It has some paintings from the 1200s and 1300s.
- Acciaiolo: This was a defense building and a fancy home in the 1300s. Now, it belongs to the public.
