Contents
A Spooky Halloween Night
It's Halloween night, and Shrek's family is having a blast. They are trying to scare trick-or-treaters. Inside their house, Donkey, Pinocchio, The Three Little Pigs, Wolf, and Gingy try to scare Shrek and Fiona. But they fail! Shrek says that nothing can scare an ogre. He calls ogres "the kings of Halloween."
To prove him wrong, Donkey suggests a challenge. They will see who can tell the scariest story. Shrek makes it even more exciting. He chooses to hold their contest in Lord Farquaad's old, empty castle, Duloc.
Gingy's Sweet but Scary Tale
Gingy starts first with his story. It's about his girlfriend, Sugar. He asked the Muffin Man to make her with lots of sugar. Gingy was happy at first, but Sugar loved him too much! He got scared and ran away. He pushed her into a big container of batter.
Gingy thought he was free. But the batter created thousands of zombie-like Sugars! They surrounded Gingy and ate him. The Three Little Pigs get scared and run away. Wolf goes with them, saying they are his ride. Shrek points out that Gingy can't be here if he was eaten. Gingy then runs off too.
Donkey and Puss's Hotel Horror
Next, Donkey and Puss in Boots tell a story together. They take shelter from a thunderstorm at Boot's Motel. Their story starts well, but they begin to argue. Each one tries to make the other look bad. Donkey gets Pinocchio to spray Puss with water. This makes Puss run away.
Shrek's Possessed Puppet Story
Finally, Shrek tells the last story. It's about him babysitting a wild Pinocchio. Pinocchio seems to be possessed! Shrek gets beaten up by the living puppet. He tries to catch him, but Pinocchio jumps out the window.
Pinocchio lands on the street. A talking cricket pops out of his head. The cricket claims to be Pinocchio's conscience. He says he was the voice making Pinocchio go crazy. Pinocchio then squashes the cricket under his foot.
Pinocchio denies that Shrek's story is true. But when Shrek shows him a normal cricket, Pinocchio screams! He runs out of the castle.
The Final Scare
Now, only Donkey and Shrek are left. They hear the wind moving around. Then, a walking suit of armor calls Donkey's name. Donkey is terrified! He admits defeat and runs away. Fiona then reveals it was her and the babies. They planned the ghost act! Shrek, Fiona, and the babies celebrate. They egg the seven dwarves as a prank.
