This TV series is based on the popular 2003 School of Rock movie. It was created by Jim Armogida and Steve Armogida. The main stars include Breanna Yde, Ricardo Hurtado, Jade Pettyjohn, Lance Lim, Aidan Miner, Tony Cavalero, and Jama Williamson.

What's the Story?

The show takes place in Austin, Texas. It's about a group of students who always follow the rules. Their lives change when a new substitute teacher, Dewey Finn, arrives.

Mr. Finn is a musician who's a bit down on his luck. He uses the power of rock and roll to inspire his class. He helps them form a secret band!

Throughout the school year, these middle-school friends learn many things. They figure out how to handle friendships and discover hidden talents. They also learn important lessons about being loyal and working together.

• Breanna Yde as Tomika: She's 12 years old and best friends with Summer. Tomika plays the electric bass and is also the lead singer of the band.
• Ricardo Hurtado as Freddy: He's 12 and considered the most good-looking guy in his class. Freddy plays the drums in the band. His best friends are Zack and Lawrence. Summer has a big crush on him, and later, he starts to like her too.
• Jade Pettyjohn as Summer: A 12-year-old schoolgirl and Tomika's best friend. Summer plays the tambourine in the band and also manages them. She has a crush on Freddy.
• Lance Lim as Zack: He's 12 and best friends with Lawrence and Freddy. Zack plays the electric guitar in the band.
• Aidan Miner as Lawrence: A 12-year-old who is best friends with Zack and Freddy. Lawrence is known as the smartest kid in his class. He plays the electronic keyboard.
• Tony Cavalero as Mr. Finn: He's the new substitute teacher. Mr. Finn is a former rock musician. He teaches the kids how to play music and work together as a band. In the second season, he becomes a regular teacher.
• Jama Williamson as Principal Mullins: She is the principal of the school. In the first season, she appeared sometimes. But in the second season, she became a main character.
