Scorpia is a character from the animated TV shows She-Ra: Princess of Power and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. She is part of a group called The Horde. Scorpia looks like a mix of a human and a scorpion. She has large scorpion claws instead of hands. She also has a powerful scorpion tail. She uses these features when she fights against the heroes, known as The Great Rebellion.

Scorpia in TV Shows

Scorpia has appeared in two different animated series. She plays a different role in each show. Let's learn about her adventures.

Scorpia in She-Ra: Princess of Power (1985)

In the older She-Ra cartoon from 1985, Scorpia lives in a dangerous place called the Crimson Waste. She seems to be a powerful leader there. Her home is even shaped like a giant scorpion. Inside, she has a throne, which shows she rules part of Etheria.

Scorpia often had a strong rivalry with another Horde member, Catra. They only worked together if they absolutely had to. Scorpia uses her big pincers and strong tail in battles. However, her tail can sometimes be a problem for her. She-Ra often uses it to throw her out of the way. Scorpia is not the smartest member of The Horde. She is easily tricked. For example, she once let Bow into a secret factory. She thought he was a handsome inspector.

Scorpia also owns a special vehicle called the Crawler. This tank is shaped like a scorpion. It can even fire a sleep ray from its tail.

Scorpia in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018)

In the newer She-Ra series, Scorpia is a Force Captain in The Horde. She has the same rank as Catra. But she often ends up helping Catra with her plans. Scorpia is not mean in this version. She is actually one of the Princesses of Power. Her family used to rule the Fright Zone. They gave their powerful Black Garnet runestone to Hordak. Because of this, Scorpia stays loyal to The Horde for most of the series.

As the story goes on, Scorpia becomes good friends with Entrapta. She also cares deeply for Catra. Scorpia often made excuses for Catra's unkind actions. But after Entrapta was sent away, Scorpia decided to leave The Horde. She saw that Catra was becoming unstable. Scorpia then joined the Rebellion. She connected with the Black Garnet and gained new electrical powers.
