Scott Bailey is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Sandy Foster on the TV show Guiding Light. He also played Roman Martin in the series Saints & Sinners.

Early Life and Education

Scott Bailey was born in Florissant, Missouri. He lived in Europe for seven years as a child. Because of this, he can speak German and Spanish fluently. He also knows sign language. His mother was a nurse for the U.S. Army, and he has an older sister named Lisa.

Before becoming an actor, Scott studied science and engineering. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University. While in college, he was also a representative in the student government. After graduating, he worked for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Acting started as just a hobby for Scott. He decided to make it his career while he was studying for a doctoral degree at the UCLA.

Television Roles

Scott Bailey's first major role was on the TV show Guiding Light. He played Sandy Foster from August 2003 until March 2006. When he left the show, his character was written out of the story.

In 2009, he appeared in the popular kids' series Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He played two different characters: the villain JTC and the hero Price. Both characters could turn into the powerful Kamen Rider Strike.

Over the years, Scott has appeared in many other TV shows and movies. He was in the 2001 television movie Just Ask My Children. He also had a role in an episode of Chicken Soup for the Soul. In 2006, he made a guest appearance on the crime show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Movies and Other Work

Besides television, Scott has worked in movies and live shows. He was part of action shows at Universal Studios for Terminator 2: 3D and Spider-Man. He also acted in several plays. In 2009, he was in the movie Prayers for Bobby. For his role in the 2012 movie Bank Roll, he won a Best Supporting Actor award at a film festival.

You might also recognize him from a series of Old Spice commercials where he played a Centaur. He has also done voice-over work for commercials and documentaries.

Personal Life

In January 2010, Scott Bailey announced he was engaged to actress Adrienne Frantz. They got married on November 11, 2011, in California.

The couple has three children. Their daughter, Amélie, was born on December 1, 2015. They also have two sons: Lion, born on June 19, 2020, and Killian, born in March 2022.
