Sean McMorrow, born on January 19, 1982, is a Canadian who used to play professional ice hockey. He played as a winger, which is a forward position. He played his last games for the Jonquière Marquis, a team in a semi-professional league called the LNAH. The Buffalo Sabres picked him in the 2000 NHL draft. He played one game in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Sabres during the 2002–03 season. Sean was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but he grew up in Scarborough, Ontario.

Sean McMorrow's Hockey Journey
Early Years and Youth Hockey
When Sean was a kid, he played in the 1996 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He was part of a minor ice hockey team from Wexford, Toronto. This tournament is a big event for young hockey players.
Starting Professional Hockey
The Buffalo Sabres chose Sean McMorrow in the 8th round of the 2000 NHL entry draft. He was the 258th player picked overall. At the time, he was playing in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Sean made his NHL debut for the Sabres on March 22, 2003. This game was against the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2002–03 NHL season. Most of his time with the Sabres organization was spent playing for their minor league team, the Rochester Americans. This team is part of the AHL.
After the 2005–06 season, the Buffalo Sabres did not offer Sean a new contract. He then signed with the Chicago Wolves, another AHL team. However, he didn't get much playing time there.
Playing in Other Leagues
In 2006, Sean left the Chicago Wolves. He decided to play for Saint-Hyacinthe Top Design. This was a semi-professional hockey team in Quebec's LNAH.
On October 22, 2008, Sean signed a special contract with the Rockford IceHogs. This team is also in the AHL. He played for them during the 2008–09 season.
Later, Sean signed a contract to play for the Belfast Giants. This team is part of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) in the UK. He played with them for the 2009–10 season.
Sean returned to the EIHL for the 2010–11 season. He joined a new team called the Dundee Stars. However, on November 5, 2010, it was announced that he had left the Dundee Stars. He then signed with the Saguenay Marquis in the LNAH shortly after.
Beyond the Rink
TV Appearance
During his time playing in the EIHL, Sean McMorrow appeared on a TV show. He was on season 14, episode 4 of Top Gear. In the show, he played a Belfast ice hockey player. The scene showed him supposedly being hit by Jeremy Clarkson. Clarkson was driving a Renault Twingo car around the Belfast Odyssey ice rink during a practice game.
