Secret Harbour is a suburb located south of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. It sits right on the Indian Ocean coast. Even though its name includes "Harbour," there isn't actually a harbour here. The name came from a plan for a marina that didn't happen, and it was officially approved in 1984.

Shopping and Food in Secret Harbour

The main shopping centre has big supermarkets like Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi. You can also find smaller shops, places to get what you need, and coffee shops like Dôme. For bigger shopping trips, Rockingham Shopping Centre and Mandurah Forum are about 15 kilometres away.

There's also a popular restaurant and bar called The Whistling Kite. It's a well-known spot where people meet up. Next to it, you can find a gym and a pharmacy.

Golfing at Secret Harbour Golf Course

If you like golf, Secret Harbour has an 18-hole golf course. It was designed by a famous golfer named Graham Marsh. This course is part of a group of courses known as the Golf Coast.

Future Plans for Secret Harbour

There are plans for new developments in Secret Harbour. Since 2008, a company called Satterley has started new land projects. These include the Spy Glass Hill development. There are also plans for new homes right by the beach, including two-to-three-story townhouses and a five-story apartment building. A special gated community is also planned. Satterley is also looking into creating space for new restaurants and cafes along the beachfront.
