Seo Min-woo (Hangul: 서민우; born February 8, 1985 – died March 25, 2018) was a singer and actor from South Korea. He was the leader and a singer in the K-pop boy band called 100%. They were part of the TOP Media company.

Early Acting Roles

Before he became a singer, Seo Min-woo was an actor. In 2006, he acted in the TV show Sharp 3. He also appeared in the drama The King and I in 2007.

Seo also had small roles in other TV shows and movies. He was in the movie Crazy Waiting in 2007. He also appeared in Where Are You Going? in 2009.

Joining the Band 100%

In 2012, Seo Min-woo became a member of the K-pop group 100%. This group had seven members. They made their debut in September 2012. Their first album was called We, 100%.

In 2013, Seo also made a special appearance in the TV drama Marriage Clinic: Love and War 2.

Military Service

In South Korea, all young men must serve in the military. On March 4, 2014, Seo Min-woo started his mandatory military service. He served as an active-duty soldier.

He finished his service after 21 months. He was discharged from the military on December 3, 2015.

Later Life and Passing

Seo Min-woo passed away on March 25, 2018. He was found at his home in Seoul. His funeral was held a few days later, on March 27, 2018.
