Seven Springs is a small town, called a borough, located in Pennsylvania. It is split between two counties: Somerset and Fayette.

The part of Seven Springs in Fayette County is close to the big city of Pittsburgh. The part in Somerset County is near the Johnstown area. In 2010, only 26 people lived in the borough. This was a big change from 2000, when 127 people lived there.

Most of the famous Seven Springs Mountain Resort is inside the borough. Even though the resort's address might say "Champion," the borough is where most of it is. Champion is a small village about 7 miles (11 km) away. Students in Seven Springs attend schools in the Connellsville Area School District.

Seven Springs is located at coordinates 40.022939 degrees North and -79.292850 degrees West. Most of the borough is in western Somerset County. A small part also reaches into the northeastern corner of Fayette County.

Highest Point in Pennsylvania

Seven Springs is special because it is the highest borough in Pennsylvania. Its elevation is 2,530 feet (770 meters) above sea level. It sits on top of Laurel Hill. This is a long mountain ridge that runs north to south in the Allegheny Mountains.

The borough is mostly surrounded by Middlecreek Township, Somerset County. It also shares borders with Jefferson Township, Somerset County, and Saltlick Township, Fayette County.
