Seventeen was a popular pop rock band from Indonesia. They started making music in 1999 in a city called Yogyakarta. The band was known for its catchy songs and meaningful lyrics.

Seventeen was active for many years, from 1999 until 2018. During this time, they released six studio albums. They also put out fifteen singles, which are individual songs released on their own.
Band Members
The band's final group of members included Riefian "Ifan" Fajarsyah, who was the lead singer. Herman Sikumbang played the guitar. M. Awal "Bani" Purbani played the bass guitar, and Windu Andi Darmawan was the drummer. These four musicians created the band's unique sound.

Seventeen had many songs that became very popular. Some of their most famous hits include "Selalu Mengalah," "Jaga Selalu Hatimu," "Jalan Terbaik," and "Ayah." These songs were loved by many fans across Indonesia.
A Sad Event and the End of the Band
On December 22, 2018, Seventeen was performing at a resort in Tanjung Lesung. While they were on stage, a big wave, known as the Sunda Strait tsunami, suddenly hit. This tragic event caused the band to lose some of its members. Bani, Herman, and Andi, along with a crew member and their manager, sadly passed away. Ifan, the singer, was the only band member who survived. After this sad event, Ifan announced that the band Seventeen would no longer continue.
