Shakyla Denise Hill (born December 14, 1996) is an American basketball player. She is known for her amazing skills on the court. Shakyla played college basketball for Grambling State. There, she made history by being the first woman to achieve two "quadruple-doubles." A quadruple-double means getting double-digit numbers in four different stats in one game! Later, she played basketball professionally in Serbia. She even made history there too, by getting the first quadruple-double in the ZLS league.

Playing Basketball in College

Shakyla Hill played for Grambling State University from 2015 to 2019. She was a star player for her college team.

Making History with Quadruple-Doubles

On January 4, 2018, Shakyla achieved her first quadruple-double. This was a huge deal because it was the first one in college basketball (NCAA) in 25 years! In that game, she scored 15 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, made 10 assists, and got 10 steals.

She did it again on February 3, 2019. This time, she had 21 points, 16 rebounds, 13 assists, and 10 steals. This second quadruple-double happened in a game where her team won against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Playing Basketball Professionally

After college, Shakyla was not chosen in the 2019 WNBA draft. However, she still got to play professional basketball! In September 2019, she signed with a Serbian team called ŽKK Kraljevo. This team played in the First Women's Basketball League of Serbia (ZLS) and the WABA League.

Another Quadruple-Double in Serbia

On January 26, 2020, Shakyla made history again. She recorded another quadruple-double, this time in Serbia! It was the first one ever in the ZLS league. She had 15 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 steals against KZK Partizan.

In March 2020, Shakyla helped her team, Kraljevo, win the Milan Ciga Vasojević Cup. Her team had a great record of 17 wins and only 1 loss. However, the rest of the 2019–20 ZLS season was canceled. This happened because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia.

Playing in Kosovo

In January 2022, Shakyla joined a new team called Bashkimi Prizren. This team plays in the Kosovo Women's Basketball Superleague. In February of that year, she helped her team win the Kosovo Cup.
