Shaquai Mitchell (born 19 March 1996) is an Australian rugby league player. He plays as a prop or second-row forward for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the National Rugby League (NRL). Shaquai is known for his strong play and is the older brother of fellow rugby league star, Latrell Mitchell.

About Shaquai Mitchell
Shaquai Mitchell was born in Taree, Australia. He is proud of his Indigenous Australian heritage, coming from the Birrbay and Wiradjuri peoples.
Early Rugby League Days
Shaquai started his rugby league journey in the Sydney Roosters junior teams. In 2014, he won an SG Ball title with the Roosters' Under 20s team. His younger brother, Latrell, was also on that winning team.
After his time with the Roosters, Shaquai played for the Wyong Roos in the NSW Cup. He worked hard to get into top-level rugby league. He trained with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and made his debut for the Indigenous All Stars team.

Shaquai Mitchell has played for both the Indigenous All Stars and the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Indigenous All Stars Debut
Shaquai made his first appearance for the Indigenous All Stars team in the 2022 All Stars match. This was a big step in his career.
NRL Debut with South Sydney
In 2022, Shaquai made his first-grade debut in the National Rugby League (NRL). He played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 8 of the 2022 NRL season. His first NRL game was against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Central Coast Stadium. The Rabbitohs won that game 40–22.
Playing in 2023
Shaquai played eleven games for South Sydney during the 2023 NRL season. The team finished 9th on the ladder and just missed out on playing in the finals. Later in 2023, Shaquai helped the South Sydney team win the NSW Cup grand final. They beat the North Sydney Bears in a great match.
Playing in 2024
In the 2024 NRL season, Shaquai played six matches for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The team finished 16th on the ladder that year. In September 2024, Shaquai signed a new contract to stay with the club for another year.
