The Town of Sheboygan is a community in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. It is called the Town of Sheboygan to help people tell it apart from the larger City of Sheboygan and Sheboygan County.
In 2020, about 8,136 people lived here. The town is part of the Sheboygan, Wisconsin area. It is located around the City of Sheboygan and the village of Kohler. Sometimes, parts of the town are like small islands of homes connected by very thin lines of property.
The Town of Sheboygan has tried to become a village in the past. This would help it stay independent from the city. So far, these efforts have not been successful.

Town Growth and Changes
The Town of Sheboygan has seen some changes in its businesses and buildings. For example, a large store called Sam's Club planned to build here in 2014. However, after many delays, the project did not happen. The land is still owned by Walmart.
The Sheboygan Senior Community built a new building in the town. They moved there in late 2015 from downtown Sheboygan.
The town also moved its town hall in December 2020. The old building was too small. It was hard to hold meetings or elections there safely, especially during the pandemic. The new town hall is in a different building that is more accessible.
