Sheboygan Falls is a city in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located along the Sheboygan River. In 2020, about 8,210 people lived there. The city is part of the larger Sheboygan metropolitan area.

History of Sheboygan Falls
Sheboygan Falls gets its name from the beautiful waterfalls on the Sheboygan River. For a short time, the city was called Rochester. However, its name was changed because another town in Wisconsin already had that name.
Geography and Location
Sheboygan Falls is found along the Sheboygan River. This is where the Mullet and Onion Rivers join it, close to Lake Michigan. There are rapids and a dam in the city. These features used to create electricity. They also stop most boats from traveling through the city.
The United States Census Bureau says the city covers about 5.41 square miles (14.0 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a small part being water.

In 2010, there were 7,775 people living in Sheboygan Falls. These people lived in 3,480 households. Many different groups of people call the city home. Most residents were White. There were also people of African American, Native American, and Asian backgrounds. Some people identified with two or more races. About 2.5% of the population was Hispanic or Latino.
About one-fourth of the households had children under 18. Many households were married couples living together. The average age in the city was about 42.6 years old.
