Sheetal Dnyaneshwar Agashe (born on May 17, 1977) is an Indian businesswoman and a former actress. She is currently the managing director of Brihans Natural Products, a company she has led since 2013.

Sheetal Agashe has received many awards for her work in business. These include a Times Visionary Award, a Femina Pune's Most Powerful Award, and two Times Women of the Year Awards. Before her business career, she was an actress. She had a regular role in the TV show Yes Boss from 1999 to 2003. She also played a main character in the movie Minus One in 2005.

Sheetal Agashe was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Her father was Dnyaneshwar Agashe, a well-known industrialist. Her mother is Rekha Gogte.

Sheetal grew up in Pune. She went to Vidya Bhavan school. Later, she studied at the Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, where she earned a B.Com degree. She then continued her education at the University of Pune, getting an MBA in marketing and advertising.

Her Acting Career

Sheetal Agashe started her career in Bollywood as an actress. From 1999 to 2003, she was part of the TV show Yes Boss on SAB TV. She played a character named Sheetal, who was a personal assistant.

In 2005, Sheetal starred in an English movie called Minus One. She played a main role alongside famous actresses like Archana Puran Singh and Seema Biswas. After this movie, she decided to stop acting. Her father encouraged her to join the family business instead.

Becoming a Business Leader

In 2005, Sheetal Agashe joined Brihans Natural Products Limited. This company makes Ayurvedic skincare products. Her brother, Mandar Agashe, started the company in 2000. Sheetal became the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company.

In January 2013, she was made the managing director of Brihans Natural Products. This was a big step, as she became the first woman in her family to lead a business in their group of companies.

Sheetal focused on making products with Aloe vera as the main ingredient. She also started getting ingredients like Aloe vera, Indian gooseberry, and hibiscus from Indian farmers. This helps local farmers in places like Solapur.

She also used her background in Bollywood to get famous people to promote the company's products. She even arranged for the company's brands to be featured in movies.
