Where is Sheldon Located?
Sheldon is in the eastern part of Iroquois County. Its exact location is 40°46′15″N 87°33′53″W / 40.770894°N 87.564802°W.
Major Roads Near Sheldon
Two main roads are close to Sheldon. U.S. Route 24 runs along the northern edge of the village. It goes west about 9 miles (14 km) to Watseka, which is the county seat. Going east, it leads about 6 miles (10 km) to Kentland, Indiana.
U.S. Route 52 also meets US 24 near Sheldon's northern border. This road goes north about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to Iroquois. It also joins US 24 when heading east into Indiana.
