The Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation is a group of First Nations people. They live in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Their main community is called Sheshatshiu.

The Sheshatshiu Innu are part of the larger Innu people. They have their own government, known as a band government. This government helps manage their community and affairs.

The main home for the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation is a place called Sheshatshiu 3. This area became a special federal reserve in 2006. A reserve is land set aside for First Nations people.

Population and History
In September 2019, there were 1,805 people registered with the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation. Most of them live on their reserve land.
The Innu people in Labrador officially became "status Indians" in 2002. This means they are recognized under the Indian Act. The Indian Act is a Canadian law about First Nations people.
