Shimbashi Station (新橋駅, しんばしえき) is a very busy railway station in Tokyo, Japan. It is a major hub where many different train lines meet. This makes it easy for people to travel all over the city and beyond.
The station is operated by several different companies. These include JR East, Tokyo Metro, Toei Subway, and Yurikamome. Shimbashi Station first opened in 1909. Before 1914, it was known as Karasumori Station.
