Sibley is a small village located in Jackson County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 314 people lived there. Sibley is famous for being the home of Fort Osage, which is a very important historical site. It is also part of the larger Kansas City metropolitan area.

History of Sibley Village
Sibley was officially planned and laid out in 1836. The village was named after George C. Sibley. He was the first Indian agent and postmaster at Fort Osage. A post office started operating in Sibley in 1842.
