Sidharth Sriram (born on May 19, 1990) is a talented Indian musician. He is known for his amazing singing in both traditional Carnatic music and modern R&B (Rhythm and Blues). Sid Sriram is also a music producer and a playback singer, meaning he sings songs for movies. He has worked in many different language film industries, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, and English. He often works with his sister, Pallavi Sriram, who is a Bharatanatyam dancer.

Early Life and Music Journey
Sid Sriram was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. When he was just one year old, his family moved to California, USA, where he grew up in a city called Fremont.
Music was a big part of his life from a very young age. His mother, Latha Sriram, taught Carnatic music, which is a classical music style from South India. Sid started learning Carnatic music when he was only three years old! At the same time, he also developed a love for R&B music.
After finishing high school in 2008, he went to the Berklee College of Music. There, he studied music production and engineering, learning how to create and record music. After college, he often visited India to perform in Carnatic concerts. He has since moved back to Chennai, India, where he continues his musical career.

Sid Sriram has made a name for himself in the music world. He has sung many popular songs in various Indian languages. For example, he sang "Uyire" in the Malayalam film Gauthamante Radham and "Kola Kale Ila" in the Telugu film Varudu Kaavalenu. He also sang two songs for the Hindi film Jhund.
He also started composing music, which means creating the music for songs. His first time as a music composer was for the film Vaanam Kottatum. This movie was produced by the famous director Mani Ratnam. One of his most well-known songs is "Srivalli" from the movie Pushpa: The Rise, which was loved by many.
Outside of movie music, Sid Sriram has also released his own albums. In 2019, he released his first album called Entropy. In 2021, he started working on an all-English album named Sidharth. This album mixes his Carnatic music roots with R&B and indie rock sounds. It was released on August 25, 2023, and included songs like "Dear Sahana" and "The Hard Way".
