Sidmar Antônio Martins, born on June 13, 1962, is a former football player from Brazil. He was a talented goalkeeper, which is the player who protects the goal. After his playing career, he became a coach. As of July 2025, he is the goalkeeper coach for Vissel Kobe.

Sidmar's Football Journey
Sidmar started his professional football career in Brazil. He played for several different clubs in his home country. These clubs included Guarani, XV Novembro-Piracicaba, and Bahia.
Playing in Japan
In 1993, Sidmar moved to Japan to play for Shimizu S-Pulse. This was a big step in his career. He played as a goalkeeper in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. He played 17 games in his first year there.
He continued to play for Shimizu S-Pulse in 1994 and 1995. He was a regular player for the team. After 1995, he returned to Brazil.
A Return to the Field
Many years later, in 2017, Sidmar made a surprising return to playing. He joined Fujieda MYFC, another Japanese club. This time, he was part of the J3 League. Even though he didn't play any games, it was interesting to see him back on a team roster.
Life After Playing
