Silvia Abril Fernández (born April 10, 1971) is a Spanish comedian, actress, and TV host. She comes from Catalonia, a region in Spain. Silvia is well-known for her funny roles in television shows and movies.

Silvia Abril was born in Mataró, a city in Barcelona, Spain. She has three sisters. Silvia is married to Andreu Buenafuente, who is also a comedian. They have a daughter named Joana, who was born in 2012.
Her Career
Silvia Abril is famous for her roles in many popular Spanish shows and films. One of her well-known characters was Violeta Recio in the TV series La que se avecina. She also acted as Laura in the movie Spanish Movie.
In 2008, Silvia was one of the dancers for the Spanish song entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. The song was called "Baila el Chiki-chiki".
In 2017, Silvia took part in the second season of MasterChef Celebrity. This is a cooking competition show for famous people. She was eliminated early but then came back and ended up as the runner-up!
