In 1995, she received a very important award called the Argentine National 'José Antonio Balseiro' Prize. She won this award as the leader of a team. They were recognized for their work in helping farmers and businesses grow edible mushrooms. The Ministry of Education and the Forum of Science and Technology gave her this award. The President of Argentina, Dr. Carlos Menem, presented it to her on April 26 in the Government's House.
