Siniša Ubiparipović (born August 25, 1983) is a former professional soccer player from Bosnia and America. He played as a Midfielder.

Early Life and Moving to the U.S.
Siniša Ubiparipović was born in Zenica, a town in what was then Bosnia and Herzegovina. This country was part of Yugoslavia at the time. His family was Serbian.
When the Bosnian War started in 1992, his family moved to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. They wanted to escape the fighting. In 1999, they moved to the United States. Siniša first started playing organized soccer as a child with Čelik Zenica.
Soccer Career
College Soccer Journey
Siniša began playing college soccer in 2002. He first played for the University of Illinois at Chicago. Later, from 2004 to 2006, he played for the University of Akron.
At Akron, he was recognized as an NSCAA All-American in his last two years. In 2006, he was named the best player in the Mid-American Conference. During his college years, Siniša also played for teams like Cleveland Internationals and Chicago Fire Premier. These teams were part of the USL Premier Development League.
Professional Playing Days
In 2007, Siniša was chosen by the New York Red Bulls in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. This was a big step into professional soccer. In his first year, he played in 12 regular season games. He also played in two playoff games. For a short time in 2007, he was loaned to Minnesota Thunder. He scored one goal in that game.
In 2008, Siniša played in 16 games and scored his first league goal. He helped the Red Bulls reach the 2008 MLS Cup final. In 2009, he played in 23 games, which was his most in a single season for the Red Bulls.
On March 20, 2010, Siniša played in the first game at the new Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls won that game. He scored another goal for the Red Bulls in May 2010.
After his contract with New York ended, Siniša joined Montreal Impact in 2011. He scored three goals and had four assists in 10 games. He was named the club's best new player that year. He continued to play for the Impact in 2012 when they joined Major League Soccer.
In 2014, Siniša signed with Ottawa Fury FC. He was a very important player for them in 2015. He scored 5 goals and helped with 8 assists in 26 games. This helped Ottawa win the NASL fall season title. He then joined Indy Eleven in 2015.
Siniša Ubiparipović announced his retirement from soccer on September 20, 2017. He stopped playing at the end of the 2017 season.
Family Life
Siniša has a brother named Slaviša Ubiparipović. Slaviša also played soccer for Cleveland Internationals. He currently plays for the San Diego Sockers.
