Sita-Taty Matondo, born on December 28, 1984, in Kinshasa, Zaire, is a former professional soccer player. He was born in Congo but grew up in Canada. He played most of his career in Quebec for different soccer clubs. He also played in Sweden and represented Canada on the international stage.

Playing Career Highlights
Early Days and First Professional Steps
Matondo started his soccer journey with Panellinios in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec. He was recognized for his skills early on. In 1999, he won the Defender of the Year award. He also received the Fair-Play award that same year.
In 2003, Matondo joined the Montreal Impact. This team played in the USL A-League, a professional soccer league. He scored his first goal for the Impact on June 1, 2003. It was a great moment in a 4–0 win against Calgary Storm. He finished his first professional season with four goals in 21 games.
Playing in Sweden and Return to Canada
After a good season with Montreal, Matondo moved to Sweden in 2004. He signed with Åtvidabergs FF, a team in the Superettan league. He played in four games for them.
In 2005, he returned to the Montreal Impact. However, he only played in one match that season. To get more playing time, he was traded to the Toronto Lynx. He made his debut for the Lynx on May 28, 2005. He scored his first goal for Toronto on June 26, 2005, against Charleston Battery. He was even named "man of the match" for his performance. During the 2005 season, he scored two goals and made two assists for the Lynx.
Championship Win with Vancouver
The Vancouver Whitecaps signed Matondo for the 2006 USL season. He played a big part in helping the Whitecaps win the USL First Division Championship. They beat the Rochester Raging Rhinos 3-0 in the final. Matondo scored the third goal, which sealed the victory for his team. He ended the season with three goals. He also helped Vancouver win the Cascadia Cup, a special trophy played between Pacific Northwest teams.
Back to Montreal and Loan Spell
On April 11, 2007, Matondo was traded back to the Montreal Impact. Later in 2007, he was loaned to the Impact's farm team, Trois-Rivières Attak. This team played in the Canadian Soccer League. He played his first game for them on August 18, 2007. He also played in the playoffs for the Attak. In a semi-final match, he helped set up a goal. However, his team lost the game 2–1.
Matondo left the Montreal Impact on December 2, 2008. In 2009, he went back to play in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec with Lasalle-Lakeshore United.
Representing Canada
Matondo played for Canada at different levels. He was part of the Canada U-20 squad. This team qualified for the 2003 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made his first appearance for the senior Canada national team on January 18, 2003. This was in a friendly match against the United States. In 2010, Matondo also played futsal in a special tournament called the QCSL World Cup.
