Sita-Taty Matondo was born on December 28, 1984, in Kinshasa, Zaire. He is a former Canadian soccer player. He played as a midfielder. Matondo spent most of his career in Quebec, Canada. He played for teams in different leagues, including the USL A-League/First Division. He also played soccer in Sweden and represented Canada on the international stage.

Playing Career Highlights
Sita-Taty Matondo started his soccer journey with Panellinios in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec. In 1999, he won two special awards. He was named the Defender of the Year. He also received the Fair-Play award for playing fairly.
Joining the Montreal Impact
In 2003, Matondo joined the Montreal Impact. This team played in the USL A-League. He scored his first professional goal on June 1, 2003. This happened in a game against Calgary Storm, which Montreal won 4–0. He finished his first season with four goals in 21 games.
Playing in Sweden and Return to Canada
After a good season with Montreal, Matondo moved to Sweden. He signed with Åtvidabergs FF in the Superettan league in 2004. He played in four games for them.
He came back to the Montreal Impact in 2005. However, he played in only one match. Later that year, he was traded to the Toronto Lynx. He made his first appearance for Toronto on May 28, 2005. He scored his first goal for the Lynx on June 26, 2005. In that game, he was named the best player. He ended the 2005 season with two goals and two assists for Toronto.
Winning with Vancouver Whitecaps
The Vancouver Whitecaps signed Matondo for the 2006 season. He helped the Whitecaps win the USL First Division Championship. They beat the Rochester Raging Rhinos 3–0 in the final. Matondo scored the third goal, which secured the championship win. He scored three goals that season. He also helped Vancouver win the Cascadia Cup.
In 2007, Matondo returned to the Montreal Impact. During the 2007 season, he was loaned to the Impact's farm team, Trois-Rivières Attak. This team played in the Canadian Soccer League. He played his first game for them on August 18, 2007. He also played in the playoffs for the team.
In December 2008, Matondo left the Montreal Impact. In 2009, he went back to play in the Ligue de Soccer Elite Quebec. He joined the team Lasalle-Lakeshore United.
Playing for Canada
Matondo proudly represented Canada in international soccer. He played for the U20 and U23 national teams. He was part of the Canada U-20 team. This team qualified for the 2003 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
He made his first appearance for the senior Canada national team on January 18, 2003. This was in a friendly match against the United States. Matondo also played futsal, which is a type of indoor soccer, in 2010.
