Sixpence None the Richer (often called Sixpence) is an American band. They play a mix of Christian rock and pop music. The band started in New Braunfels, Texas in 1992. Later, they made their home in Nashville, Tennessee.
This group is famous for their hit songs. These include "Kiss Me" and "Breathe Your Name." They also made popular versions of other songs. Two well-known covers are "Don't Dream It's Over" and "There She Goes." The band's unique name comes from a book. It was inspired by a part of Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis.
