Sloane Blakely was born on December 23, 2002. She is an American gymnast who competes in Artistic gymnastics. Sloane was also part of the United States women's national gymnastics team. She now competes for the Florida Gators in college gymnastics. Sloane is the older sister of fellow gymnast Skye Blakely.

Early Life and Gymnastics Beginnings
Sloane Blakely was born in Dallas, Texas, in 2002. Her parents are Steven and Stephanie Blakely. She has one younger sister, Skye. Before starting gymnastics, Sloane enjoyed ballet and tap dancing.

Junior Elite Competitions
2016 Season Highlights
In 2016, Sloane became a junior elite gymnast. This means she was one of the top young gymnasts in the country. She competed at the 2016 U.S. Classic, finishing 21st overall. Later, at the U.S. National Championships, she placed 18th.
Senior Level Debut
2018 Senior Season
Sloane was old enough to compete at the senior level in 2018. She started her senior career at the American Classic. There, she placed sixth in the all-around competition. She also competed at the 2018 U.S. Classic, where she finished seventh overall. Sloane was fourth on the balance beam at that event. In August, she competed at the 2018 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships. She finished 16th in the all-around.
2019 National Team Selection
In February 2019, Sloane was chosen for the team going to 2019 L'International Gymnix in Canada. This was a big moment for her. Because of this, she was named to the national team for the first time. At the event, her team won the gold medal. Sloane also won a silver medal on the balance beam. She placed fourth in the floor exercise.
Later in 2019, Sloane competed at the American Classic. She won first place on the balance beam. She also placed second on vault and fifth on floor exercise. Sloane was considered for the 2019 Pan American Games team. However, she was not selected for that team. She also competed at the 2019 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships.
2020 and College Commitment
Sloane competed at the 2020 L'International Gymnix again in 2020. She won first place in the all-around and on the balance beam. In November, Sloane decided where she would go to college. She signed with the Florida Gators team.
2021 Level 10 Success
In 2021, Sloane competed at Level 10, which is a high level in gymnastics. She competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup. In May, Sloane competed at the Developmental National Championships. She won first place in her division. She also won titles on all four gymnastics events. This made her the first Level 10 gymnast to win every title at a National Championships.

Joining the Florida Gators
2021–2022 Season Debut
Sloane started her college gymnastics career on January 7, 2022. She competed for the Florida Gators. In her first meet, she competed on all four events. She had the highest scores in the all-around and on balance beam. Sloane was the first Florida Gator gymnast since 2012 to win the all-around in her first college meet. She was also named SEC Gymnast of the Week. This was a special award for a freshman.
Perfect 10.0 Scores
Sloane has achieved a perfect score of 10.0 in her college career. This is a very rare and exciting achievement in gymnastics.
