Slobodan Dubajić (Serbian Cyrillic: Слободан Дубајић) is a retired Serbian footballer. He was born on February 19, 1963. He played as a defender, which is a player who helps protect the team's goal. Dubajić played for several football clubs during his career. He also played for his national team.
Playing for Clubs
Slobodan Dubajić started his football career in his hometown. He played for a club called Proleter Zrenjanin. He was with them from 1982 to 1991. He played many games for this team.
After that, he moved to Germany. In 1991, he joined VfB Stuttgart, a well-known German club. In his first season there, he helped his team win the Bundesliga. This is the top football league in Germany. He played 116 league games for Stuttgart. He scored seven goals during his four years with the club.
Later, Dubajić played briefly in Turkey. He was with a team called Zeytinburnuspor. Then, he moved to Japan. He spent four years playing for Vegalta Sendai.
Playing for His Country
