The UEFA Euro 1992 was a big football tournament for European national teams. It was the 9th time this championship was held. The official name was the 1992 UEFA European Football Championship. It took place in Sweden from June 10 to June 26, 1992.

Eight teams made it to the main part of the tournament. The defending champions were the Netherlands. But in a huge surprise, Denmark won the tournament! They beat Germany in the final match.

Denmark, who were not even supposed to be in the tournament (they replaced Yugoslavia at the last minute), beat Germany 2-0! This was one of the biggest surprises in football history.
