Henrik Larsen (born on May 17, 1966) is a famous Danish football player and manager. People sometimes called him Store Larsen, which means Big Larsen. He played as a midfielder, a player who helps both attack and defense.
Henrik Larsen is best known for helping the Danish national team win the UEFA Euro 1992 tournament. He was even one of the top goal scorers in that competition! He played 39 games for his country and scored five goals.

Henrik Larsen's Club Football Journey
Henrik Larsen started his football career in Denmark. He played for clubs like Taarbæk IF and Lyngby Boldklub. With Lyngby, he won the Danish Cup in 1985. This is a big knockout competition in Danish football.
Playing in Italy and England
In 1990, Henrik moved to Italy to play for Pisa Calcio. They were trying to get promoted to Serie A, which is Italy's top football league. Pisa did get promoted, but then they were relegated (moved down) back to Serie B the next year. Because of rules about foreign players, Henrik had to look for other teams.
After his success at Euro 92, Henrik went back to Pisa. Later, he was loaned (temporarily sent) to Aston Villa F.C. in England in 1993. He didn't play much there and soon left. He then played on loan for Waldhof Mannheim in Germany.
Returning to Denmark
Henrik came back to Denmark in 1994 to play for Lyngby again. He helped them win the 1991–92 Danish Superliga championship. This is the top league title in Denmark. After Euro 96, he joined FC Copenhagen and won the 1996–97 Danish Cup with them. He stopped playing professional football in 1999.
Henrik Larsen's International Football Career
Henrik Larsen's biggest moment was at the UEFA Euro 1992 tournament. Denmark wasn't even supposed to be in the tournament, but they got a last-minute spot! Henrik started as a substitute player.
He became a hero by scoring three goals in the tournament. In the semi-final against the Netherlands, he scored both goals in a 2–2 draw. The game then went to a penalty shootout. Henrik scored his penalty, and Denmark won! They then played against Germany in the final and won the whole tournament. It was an amazing victory for Denmark. Henrik also played in Euro 96, which was his last big tournament for Denmark.
Henrik Larsen's Coaching Career
After he stopped playing, Henrik Larsen became a football coach. He worked as an assistant coach at FC Copenhagen. Later, he became the head coach for the Faroe Islands national team until 2005.
He also coached several Danish clubs, including Ølstykke FC, Holbæk B&I, and Køge Boldklub. In 2008, he became the head coach for his old club, Lyngby Boldklub, but he left after eight months. He also worked as an assistant manager for Randers FC. From 2010 to 2015, he was an assistant coach for Lyngby Boldklub's Under-19 team.
