Soledad (pronounced sole-e-DAHD) is a special kind of town called a municipality. It is located in Honduras, a country in Central America. Soledad is part of the El Paraíso area, which is like a big region or state in Honduras.
Soledad was officially established as a town in 1826. It covers an area of about 169 square kilometers. In 2015, about 9,353 people lived there.
