Spider-Man is an exciting action-adventure video game. It was created by a company called Neversoft. You could play this game on several different systems. These included the PlayStation, Sega Dreamcast, and Nintendo 64. The game is all about the famous Marvel Comics superhero, Spider-Man. A sequel to this game, called Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro, came out in 2001.

How to Play Spider-Man

In the Spider-Man game, you control Spider-Man himself. You can use his amazing powers to fight bad guys. Spider-Man can attack enemies using his strong punches. He can also use his special webs. These webs help him swing around the city and trap villains.

What Happens After You Finish the Game?

Once you complete the main story of the game, something cool unlocks. It's called "What-If mode." This mode offers a fun and different way to play. A character known as the Watcher tells you what's happening. The Watcher is voiced by the actor Laurence Fishburne. This mode adds more funny and interesting parts to the game's story.

Making the Game: Development

The Spider-Man video game was built using a special tool. This tool is called an "engine." The same engine was used to make another popular game. That game was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Using an existing engine helped the creators build the game.
