Spinach soup facts for kids
Spinach soup is a yummy soup that uses spinach as its main ingredient. People all over the world enjoy it! You can make it with a clear broth or as a creamy soup. The creamy one is often called "cream of spinach soup."
In China, there's a special spinach and tofu soup called "emerald and white jade soup." That's because spinach looks like green emerald and tofu looks like white jade. So, sometimes, spinach soup is just called "emerald soup"!
You can use fresh, canned, or even frozen spinach. You can also use the spinach whole, blend it into a smooth purée, or chop it into small pieces.
