Spring Ridge is a special kind of community called a census-designated place (CDP). It is a suburban neighborhood located in Frederick County, Maryland, which is in the U.S. state of Maryland. Spring Ridge is just outside the city of Frederick, Maryland.
In 2020, about 6,005 people lived in Spring Ridge. Before 2010, this area was part of a larger CDP called Linganore-Bartonsville. For the 2010 census, it was divided into three separate areas, and Spring Ridge became its own CDP.

Where is Spring Ridge Located?
Spring Ridge is in the east-central part of Frederick County. To its west, across the Monocacy River, is the city of Frederick. To the north, you'll find Linganore Creek. The Linganore CDP is to the east, near Meadow Road. To the south, across Maryland Route 144, is the Bartonsville CDP.
Getting Around Spring Ridge
Interstate 70 (I-70) runs right through the middle of Spring Ridge. This major highway can take you about 4 miles (6 km) west to Frederick. If you head east on I-70, it's about 34 miles (55 km) to the Baltimore Beltway. The main way to get into the Spring Ridge community is by using the Spring Ridge Parkway from Maryland Route 144.
