Springview is a small village in Nebraska, a state in the United States. It is the main town, also called the county seat, of Keya Paha County. In 2010, about 242 people lived there.

History of Springview
Springview was started around the year 1885. It got its name from a natural spring that was once in the middle of the town. This spring has since dried up. Four people, J. F. Carr, Dave Wisemen, Ed Fleming, and Mrs. Fleming (Ed's mother), each gave 40 acres of their land to help create the village. This added up to 160 acres for the new town.
Geography and Climate
Springview is located in Nebraska. The United States Census Bureau says the village covers about 0.66 square miles (1.72 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the village limits.
Springview's Weather
The weather in Springview changes a lot throughout the year. Summers are warm, and winters can be very cold. The area gets a good amount of rain, especially in late spring and early summer. Snowfall is common in the winter months.
