The Sprinter is a special train system in San Diego County, California, United States. It's a "light rail" train, which means it's like a tram or streetcar but often runs on its own tracks. It uses "diesel multiple units," which are trains that have their own engines and don't need a separate locomotive to pull them.

The Sprinter travels on a 22-mile (35 km) long track. This track already existed, and 15 stations were built along it. The Sprinter connects four cities: Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, and Escondido.
Sprinter Stations
The Sprinter train stops at 15 different stations along its route. These stations help people travel easily between cities in northern San Diego County. Each station has platforms where passengers can get on and off the train.
