St. Francisville is a small community in Clark County, Missouri, United States. It is also known as Saint Francisville. In 2020, about 137 people lived there.
This community is located in the northeast part of Clark County. It sits about four miles north of Wayland on Missouri Route B. The Des Moines River and the border with Iowa are very close, only half a mile north. St. Francisville is special because it is the oldest settlement in Clark County, Missouri.
History of St. Francisville
St. Francisville was officially planned and laid out in 1833. A man named Francis Church was responsible for creating the town. The community was named after him.
