St. Vincent is a small community, often called a hamlet, located in northern Alberta, Canada. It is part of the County of St. Paul No. 19. You can find it about 3 kilometers (about 2 miles) south of Highway 28. It is also approximately 79 kilometers (about 49 miles) southwest of a larger town called Cold Lake.
A Special Community
St. Vincent is a special place because it is featured in the Alberta Online Encyclopedia. This encyclopedia uses St. Vincent as an example to teach about "Franco-Albertan" communities. These are places where many people have French backgrounds and keep their French culture and language alive in Alberta. It's like a living history lesson!
How Many People Live Here?
