St John the Baptist's Church was built a long time ago, between 1877 and 1878. The plans for the church were created by an architect named John Cundall, who was from Leamington.

The church's roof was recently fixed. This big repair cost about £250,000. Brown Matthews Architects helped with this important work.
The church is part of a group called the Society of St Wilfrid and St Hilda. It is looked after by the Bishop of Oswestry.
