St. Paul's Church, Leamington Spa is a special old church in England. It's known as a Grade II listed building, which means it's important and protected because of its history and design. It's a parish church, which means it serves the local community in Leamington Spa.
A Look Back: The Church's Story
St. Paul's Church was built a long time ago, between 1873 and 1874. A talented architect named John Cundall from Leamington designed it. This church was created from part of the older St. Mary's parish.
When it was first built, the church had 1150 seats for people to use. Half of these seats were free for anyone to sit in. The other half were rented out, and the money helped pay the church's leader, called the Vicar.
Over the years, the church and its nearby rooms have been updated. For example, in the 1980s, another architect named John Holmes worked on redesigning parts of the building.
