Stacey Franks (born McClean on 17 February 1989) is an English pop singer. She was part of the music group S Club 8. In 2009, she took part in the TV show The X Factor.

Stacey McClean's Music Journey
Starting with S Club Juniors (2001–2005)
Stacey McClean was born in Bispham, Blackpool, England. When she was 12, in 2001, she tried out for a children's pop group called S Club Juniors. She won a spot in the group!
While in S Club Juniors, Stacey and her bandmate Rochelle Humes often wore their hair in its natural curly style. The group released three songs and an album. They also appeared as guests in the TV show Viva S Club.
After the main group, S Club 7, stopped performing in 2003, S Club Juniors continued. They changed their name to S Club 8. They released three more songs and a second album.
In 2004, Stacey and the other members of S Club 8 were in a children's musical TV comedy called I Dream. This show was filmed in Spain. It had thirteen episodes and was shown on BBC One. S Club 8 stopped performing in 2005.
On The X Factor (2009)
In 2009, Stacey auditioned for The X Factor in Manchester. She sang the song "Ain't No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera. Her audition was shown on the 100th episode of the show.
She made it through to the "boot camp" stage. After singing with other acts, she made it into the top 50. Then, she had to sing a solo song to try and reach the final 24.
Stacey did make it into the final 24 contestants. She was placed in the Girls (16–24) category. Her mentor was Dannii Minogue, who was helped by her sister, Kylie. For the final audition, held in Dubai, Stacey sang "Sometimes" by Britney Spears. However, she was eliminated before the live shows began.
Recent Work (2010–Present)
In 2010, Stacey started working as a receptionist at the UK radio station talkSPORT. She continues to sing in her free time.
In December 2010, Stacey began a six-month tour around the UK. She was one of the stars in a singing and dancing stage show called G*Mania.
About Stacey's Life
Stacey McClean went to Beacon Hill High School in Blackpool. She used to work as an Admin manager at 106.5 Central Radio in Lancashire. She also co-hosted the breakfast show there for a while. She now lives in London.
Stacey is a quarter Nigerian. She was previously married to former footballer Fraser Franks. They had a daughter in 2019.
