Stan Van Samang's Career
Stan started his acting career in a famous Belgian TV show called Wittekerke. In this show, he played the character 'Kevin'. He also appeared in other Flemish TV series like Flikken and Rupel. You might have seen him in Belgian movies too, such as Windkracht 10: Koksijde Rescue (from 2007) and Vermist (also from 2007).
In 2006, Stan showed off his singing talent on a national TV show called Steracteur Sterartiest. This show was special because actors sang to raise money for charity. Stan won the competition, which helped him get a record deal just a few weeks later.
On March 7, 2007, he signed a deal with EMI Group, a big music company. His first album, Welcome Home, came out on November 23, 2007. A famous music producer named Eric Melaerts, who worked with bands like Clouseau, helped create the album. Stan's song "Scars" was a huge hit! It stayed at No. 1 on the national Ultratop 50 music chart for five weeks and even earned a gold record.
