From 1736, Konarski taught at the Collegium Resoviense in Rzeszów. He was very dedicated to making education better. In 1740, he opened a new school in Warsaw called the Collegium Nobilium. This school was special because it was for the sons of wealthy and important families, known as "szlachta."

Konarski worked to improve how the Piarist monks taught across Poland. He created a special plan for teaching. His ideas were a big part of making the Polish education system more modern in the 1700s. He wanted schools to teach new subjects and use better methods.

Political Connections

At first, Konarski was connected to King Stanislas Leszczynski. Later, he became close to the powerful Czartoryski family. He also worked with King Stanislas August Poniatowski.

Konarski often took part in special "Thursday dinners" hosted by King Stanislas August Poniatowski. These dinners were not just for eating. They were meetings where smart people discussed important ideas about Poland's future. King Stanislas August Poniatowski honored Konarski by having a medal made with his picture on it. The medal had a Latin phrase: Sapere auso. This means "who was brave to be wise." It showed how much the king respected Konarski's wisdom and courage.
