Stanko Lorger facts for kids
Stanko Lorger was a famous athlete from Slovenia. He was born on February 14, 1931, in a town called Benedikt. Stanko was known for being a very fast hurdler, which means he was a runner who jumped over barriers called hurdles during races.
He was so good that he represented his country, Yugoslavia, in the biggest sports event in the world: the Olympic Games. Stanko Lorger competed in three different Olympic Games: in 1952, 1956, and 1960 Summer Olympics. He was a true Olympic athlete!
