Stanley Myron Bryant, born on May 7, 1986, is a talented American football player. He plays as an offensive lineman for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Before joining the CFL, he played college football at Elizabeth City State University and East Carolina University. He also played for the Denver Broncos and Calgary Stampeders.

Early Life and High School Football

Stanley Bryant grew up in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He played football for three years at Goldsboro High School. He was a key player for the Mighty Cougars team. In 2003, he was even named their best defensive player.

College Football Journey

Playing for the Vikings

In 2005, Stanley Bryant started his college football career. He played for the Elizabeth City State Vikings team.

Joining the East Carolina Pirates

Later, in 2006, Bryant moved to East Carolina University. He joined the East Carolina Pirates football team. He started as a "walk-on," which means he joined the team without a scholarship at first.

Professional Football Career

Time with the Denver Broncos

After college, Stanley Bryant was not chosen in the 2009 NFL draft. However, the Denver Broncos signed him on April 27, 2009. He was part of their team for a short time. He was released by the Broncos on August 25, 2009.

Playing for the Calgary Stampeders

On June 16, 2010, Bryant signed with the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL. He made his first CFL start on October 22, 2010. He played as a right tackle against the BC Lions. Stanley became a CFL All-Star in 2013 and 2014. He was also chosen as a CFL West All-Star in those years. The Stampeders nominated him for the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award in 2011 and 2013.

Success with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Stanley Bryant joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on February 10, 2015. In his first two years with the Bombers, he started every game. He continued to be a strong player for the team. He signed new contracts with the Bombers in 2016, 2021, and 2023. Even at 36 years old in 2023, he agreed to keep playing for the team.

Stanley Bryant has won many awards during his career. He is known as one of the best offensive linemen in the CFL.
