Stansbury Park is a community in Tooele County, Utah, United States. It's called a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a special area defined for counting people. In 2020, about 9,851 people lived here. This was a big jump from 5,145 people in 2010!
Stansbury Park is located in the northern part of Tooele Valley. It sits at the bottom of the Oquirrh Mountains. If you drive on Interstate 80, it takes about 35 minutes to get to downtown Salt Lake City.
Stansbury Park was designed to be a special kind of community. It was planned to have a lake for boating, a golf course, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, and many parks. Even though the first company that planned it went out of business, the community has mostly followed this original idea.
The parks in Stansbury Park have lots of fun things to do. You can find baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts. There are also play areas for kids and a skateboard park. A large park is being built northwest of Utah State Route 138. There's also a natural lake called The Mill Pond. It gets its water from a spring.
You can find some businesses in Stansbury Park. They are mostly located along Utah State Route 36. Stansbury Park is not an official city yet. This means that Tooele County helps provide most of the services for the community.
