Stefhon L. Hannah (born June 14, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a point guard and had a career that lasted from 2008 to 2018. Stefhon played college basketball for Chipola College and the University of Missouri.

High School Basketball Journey
Stefhon Hannah attended Hyde Park Career Academy in Chicago, Illinois. During his senior year, he was a star player. He scored an average of 23.1 points per game. He also made 7.8 assists and grabbed 4.3 rebounds per game.
His leadership helped the Indians team win the Chicago Public League Red-East and Regional championships. He was recognized as one of the best players in the area. Both the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune named him All-State. He also led his team to win the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Holiday Tournament. Stefhon was named the Most Valuable Player of that tournament.
College Basketball Career
Stefhon started his college basketball journey at Chipola CC. In his second year there, he was a top player. He averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game. He earned first-team honors in the All-Panhandle Conference. He was also named the Panhandle Player of the Year. Stefhon was known for his excellent assist-to-turnover ratio. He was considered one of the top junior college guards in the country.
After two years at Chipola, Stefhon transferred to the University of Missouri. There, he continued to play well. He averaged 15.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.2 steals. He was recognized as the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Year. This award came from various groups, including the Big 12 Coaches and the Associated Press. He was also named to the Big 12 All-Rookie/Newcomer teams.
During his time at Missouri, Stefhon faced some challenges. An incident occurred that led to him being unable to continue playing for the team. He also had to resolve a legal matter related to this event.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Stefhon Hannah was not chosen in the 2008 NBA draft. However, he soon began his professional career.
Early Professional Teams
In 2008, Stefhon signed with APOEL B.C. in Cyprus. He played a few games there before moving on. In January 2009, he joined BC Šiauliai in Lithuania for the rest of that season.
In May 2010, Stefhon played for the Marietta Storm in the WBA. He performed very well and was named to the All-WBA first team.
NBA D-League Success
Stefhon joined the Iowa Energy in October 2010. He later signed with B-Meg Llamados in the Philippines in June 2011.
In October 2011, Stefhon played for AZS Koszalin in Poland. In January 2012, he moved to the Dakota Wizards. With the Wizards, he won the NBA Development League Defensive Player of the Year Award. This award recognized him as the best defensive player in the league.
Continuing His Journey
In July 2012, Stefhon played for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League. He later joined the Golden State Warriors in October 2012, but was waived shortly after. In November 2012, he was acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors. He had another great defensive season, winning the D-League's Defensive Player of the Year Award for the second year in a row. In May 2013, Stefhon played for Marinos de Anzoátegui in Venezuela.
In August 2013, he signed with Juvecaserta Basket in Italy. He later returned to the Santa Cruz Warriors in April 2014.
Later Career Teams
In September 2014, Stefhon was acquired by the Westchester Knicks in a special draft. He then played for Guerreros de Bogotá in Colombia. After a short time there, he returned to the United States. In October 2014, his rights were traded to the Reno Bighorns. He officially joined the Bighorns in November 2014. In January 2015, he moved to the Grand Rapids Drive.
In October 2015, Stefhon signed with the Chicago Bulls for a short period. He then returned to the Grand Rapids Drive. In January 2016, he was waived by the Drive. Later that month, he signed again with AZS Koszalin in Poland. Stefhon Hannah's professional basketball career concluded in 2018.
