Stephanie Sigman Conde (born February 28, 1987) is a talented actress from Mexico and the United States. She became well-known for her role in the 2011 Mexican movie Miss Bala. Since then, she has appeared in many popular films and TV shows.

Stephanie Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, on February 28, 1987. Her mother is Mexican, and her father, Lee Sigman, is American. Her father was a scout for the New York Yankees baseball team. Because her father is American, Stephanie is also a U.S. citizen.
Stephanie has a brother named Kenneth Ray Sigman, who is a baseball player. He was once married to the actress Barbara Mori.
Acting Career Highlights
Stephanie Sigman started her acting journey on Mexican television. Her first movie was Rio de Oro. In 2011, she played the main character, Laura Guerrero, in the Mexican crime movie Miss Bala. This film was chosen to represent Mexico at the Oscars, which is a very big deal!
A few years later, in 2013, Stephanie acted in a Norwegian thriller called Pioneer. She also had a recurring role in the TV crime drama The Bridge. You might also recognize her from the music video for "Snap Out of It" by the band Arctic Monkeys in 2014.
Becoming a Bond Girl and More
In 2015, Stephanie Sigman joined the cast of the popular James Bond movie Spectre. She played the character Estrella, becoming only the second Mexican actress to be a "Bond girl". This was a very exciting role!
That same year, she also starred as Valeria Vélez in the Netflix crime thriller series Narcos. Her character was based on a real person named Virginia Vallejo.
Television Roles
In 2016, Stephanie had a recurring role in the TV series American Crime. She played Monica Ava during the show's second season.
From 2017 to 2019, Stephanie Sigman was a main character in the action-packed TV series S.W.A.T.. She played Jessica Cortez, who was a captain and commanding officer in the LAPD Metropolitan Division. Her character left the show at the start of the third season to pursue FBI training.
