Steve Tracy (born Steven Crumrine; October 3, 1952 – November 27, 1986) was an American film and television actor. He was best known for playing Percival Dalton on the TV show Little House on the Prairie.

Early Life and Education
Steven Crumrine was born on October 3, 1952. He grew up in a Jewish family.
Steve went to Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He also studied theater at Los Angeles City College in Los Angeles, California. He took classes at the Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop too.
Acting Career
Steve Tracy became well-known for his role as Percival Dalton. He played this character in the TV series Little House on the Prairie. He was on the show in the early 1980s.
After Little House on the Prairie ended, Steve stayed good friends with Alison Arngrim. She played Nellie Oleson, his character's wife, on the show. They were very close while working together.
Steve Tracy also appeared in other TV shows and movies. These included Quincy, M.E., The Jeffersons, and National Lampoon's Class Reunion. He acted from 1977 until 1986.
Six months before he passed away, he performed in a play called AIDS/US: Portraits in Personal Courage. This play shared real stories about people dealing with a serious illness. Steve was the only professional actor in the show.
Later Life and Passing
Steve Tracy passed away on November 27, 1986. After his death, his friend Alison Arngrim became involved in helping others.
His ashes were spread in the Hollywood Hills. They were placed under the letter "D" of the famous Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles.
