Steve White was born in March 1961. He is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his roles in movies made by Spike Lee.
About Steve White
Steve White has worked with famous director Spike Lee five times. Their movies together include Do the Right Thing (1989), Mo' Better Blues (1990), and Malcolm X (1992). He also appeared in Clockers (1995) and Get on the Bus (1996).
From 1992 to 1997, Steve White performed stand-up comedy. He was on Russell Simmons's TV show Def Comedy Jam on HBO. He also had a regular role on the ABC comedy series Hangin' With Mr. Cooper.
More recently, Steve was a guest announcer on the game show The Price Is Right. He also made guest appearances on popular 1990s TV shows. These included Living Single and Martin, both on the Fox Network.
In 2013, Steve White shared some exciting news. He told the 92 KQRS Morning Show that he would be in a new movie. This film was called Playin' for Love, directed by Robert Townsend.
